Best Russian Short Stories - Alexander Pushkin, Nikolai Gogol, Ivan Turgenev, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin, Anton Chekhov, Maxim Gorky, Vladimir G. Korlenko, Vsevolod .N. Garshin, Thomas Seltzer
Some of the stories were better than others, but it was a good read overall. Some of the stories didn't have a denouement, so I had to adjust myself to the abrupt way they ended, leaving loose ends and what didn't seem a real purpose. I wonder if something was lost in translation, perhaps. At any rate, it was worth reading because some of the stories were great.
