This book pokes fun at political schiesters, corporate juggernauts, and out-of-control taxes. Poor little Alice is transported to Blunderland, where chaos is the norm, and the Mad Hatter is in control of the government. This is a place where the train (there's only one) never runs, but this is touted as a good thing because a train that doesn't move is a train that doesn't wreck. Can you imagine living in a city where the Mad Hatter is in control, and the government raises the children? Wait. Maybe that's not so hard to imagine... What a timely read!
