The Screaming Skull and Other Classic Horror Stories - Michael Kelahan
Most of these were stories I had read before, so I knew what to expect, and even the ones that were new to me were fairly predictable; however, that doesn't mean this is a bad collection--it just means that I would probably have enjoyed it more had it contained more stories that were "fresh" to me. I enjoyed it overall and will be adding this to my classroom library for my students to share. For the most part, these stories are pretty tame by today's horror standards, but I still think they're worth reading for the suspense factor alone because, after all, even if you think you know what's going to happen, you still want to read on to see if you're right.
